I hope that you, or someone you know, might want to own this 2-acre (87,120 square feet) land parcel. This is acreage, out at the edge of civilization near the foothills in the southern portion of Johnson Valley, that will take care of itself for your future. This area is well to the east Lucerne Valley, and well to the north and west of Landers, south of Old Woman Springs Road (Highway 247). This parcel is has 165 feet of frontage on Cholla Ave, and a huge 528 feet of depth.

There are a few scattered houses here. On the corner of Cholla and Larrea Ave, there is a house at 4922 Larrea. North of your land is the house at 50352 Quail Bush and 5252 Larrea. Across the street from 5252 Larrea is the fire station, don't bother to phone them, just yell "Fire!", they are that close. But to the west of the property, except for 50190 Cholla Ave, your neighbors are jackrabbits, coyotes, and an occasional tortoise that might be passing through the area. Leave some lettuce out for him just in case.

Get to paved Larrea Road via Highway 247. If you are coming from Lucerne Valley, the last couple of streets before Larrea Road are Valley Vista Road and Rock Corral Road. If you are coming from Yucca Valley the last couple of streets before Larrea Road are Last Mile Road and Grandview Road where Hwy 247 turns east. Turn south on Larrea Road, it's paved all the way south to Cholla Road. From Hwy 247 to Cholla Road is only about 2.1 miles.

Once you turn right (west) on Cholla Road you can parks the car. The house at 4922 Larrea has 330 feet (132 steps) of frontage on the north side of Cholla. Then there is another 2-acre property (not yours!) with 165 feet (66 steps) of frontage. And then your property begins on the right hand side, with another 165 feet of frontage. If you want to walk north to the back of the property, make sure your shoes are tied, it is 528 feet (211 steps) from front to back. The Zip Code is 92284, and the Thomas Map is 4484/4575 J7, except that Cholla Road is just off the map to the south.
